Unfortunately we had to withdraw the London Heathrow and London Gatwick Air Traffic Control streams just before Xmas 2005 as we were apparently in breach of Section 5(1)(b) of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1949.
We have had discussions with National Air Traffic Services (NATS) and Ofcom regarding this and have also contacted the UK Government itself. If you live in the UK and would like to be able to listen to UK Air Traffic Control via the Internet we urge you to contact your Member of Parliament and raise this issue with him or her! You can find out who your MP is by clicking here.
If you don't live in the UK but would like to be able to listen to UK ATC online tell us why.
If enough people want this who knows what will happen, and if people in other countries are allowed to do this, why not us in the UK?
The airport closest to London which is being streamed online is Schiphol airport (EHAM) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
